On 29 April 2026, the DAEDALOS project was featured at the IET ACDC Europe 2026 conference, during a panel discussion focused on the latest innovations in the energy sector.

Prof. Hakan Ergun (KU Leuven) presented the project, showcasing how advanced decision support tools can contribute to the stable, secure, and cost-effective operation of hybrid AC/DC grids—a key challenge in the ongoing energy transition.

The presentation also provided an overview of the tools developed within the DAEDALOS framework, highlighting their future integration into a unified platform. This platform is designed to support SCADA systems, offering enhanced capabilities for both transmission and distribution system operators.

DAEDALOS continues to play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions for next-generation energy systems, fostering reliability and efficiency in increasingly complex grid infrastructures.
